Wear Plate Processing and Application:
Composite wear-resistant plate is designed for large-area wear-resistant use of plate products, it is an alloy wear-resistant layer mainly composed of 50% Cr7C3 carbide formed on ordinary steel plate, heat-resistant steel plate and stainless steel plate by surfacing welding. Wear-resistant steel plate has the properties of high wear resistance, impact resistance, deformability and weldability. It can be used as the steel plate directly for bending deformation, cutting and drilling, etc. .
The composite wear resistant plate is made of High Boron Alloy cast iron material on the plain low carbon steel or low alloy steel plate by using the Powder metallurgy technology and hard surfacing technology through carbon electrode arc and special equipment for surfacing welding, the composite wear-resistant layer with different thickness can be made according to the requirements of customers and different working conditions. Because of the ARC welding stress dispersion, the surface of the composite wear-resistant layer produces micro-cracks, which will not spread to the substrate and affect the wear-resistant performance.
Processing steps:
1. Welding
The substrate is a very weldable steel plate, when the substrate and the steel butt joint, the back of the substrate will be welded together, and then the corresponding electrode will be the front wear-resistant layer welding repair. The substrate can also be attached to other steel structures.
2. Bolt fixing
The composite wear-resisting plate can be welded to the substrate by flash welding or melting welding, and then connected with the workpiece.
3. Plug welding
A hole is made on the base plate and connected with the work by plug welding, and then the front wear-resisting layer is repaired by the corresponding welding Rod.
4. Cutting
Because the surface of the base plate Welding High Boron Alloy cast iron, so can not flame cutting, only available plasma cutting, laser cutting and electrical discharge processing cutting. According to experience, in order to prevent cutting wear-resistant layer and base plate falling off, it is recommended to cut by the surface of the base plate.
5. Flexed
It can be used to bend the base plate into arc shape according to the need, but it is suggested that the bending radius should be not too small in the direction of weld bead.
6. Opening Hole
The composite wear-resisting board can not be perforated on the surface because of the Boron cast iron on the surface of the base board, only can be machined by EDM.
