Undercuts are generally not allowed, or the depth of undercuts is limited.
Slag inclusion is the slag remaining in the weld. Slag inclusion also reduces the strength and compactness of the weld. The leading causes of slag inclusion are a. Residual slag left by aerobic cutting or carbon arc gouging at the edge of the weld; b.
